Medical doctor, PhD candidate in cardiology, Monash University
Dr Beale is an Australian clinical doctor, half way through Cardiology training. Her physician training and medical internship has been completed at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, a specialised quaternary hospital.
Her research activities have included a Bachelor of Medical Science degree at the Baker IDI Heart and Diabetes Institute, which she undertook in 2011. Since then, Anna has continued to carry out clinical research in parallel to patient care.
Anna's particular interest is in heart failure, which was inspired by managing patients with complex heart conditions, some with mechanical hearts and heart transplants, at The Alfred Hospital. She is currently undertaking a PhD in the field of heart failure through the Geneva University Hospital in Switzerland.
