Faith is a scientist and communications specialist at the University of California. She has worked on disasters ranging from wildfire to drought in California for over a decade. She previously worked with Pew Charitable Trusts, the Center for Fire Research and Outreach at UC Berkeley, and the Ecological Society of America, as well as served as a AAAS Science and Policy Fellow at the U.S. Department of State. She received degrees in environmental science from the University of California, Berkeley (Ph.D.) and Northern Arizona University (B.S.).
