Research associate, University of Cologne
My background is in physiology and epidemiology.
My main research focus is understanding how our circadian timing systems (internal 24-hour clock) respond to various environmental challenges with a view toward improving health and preventing/alleviating the burden of disease/disorders/adverse events that are associated with perturbation of the circadian timing system.
I work at the Institute and Policlinic for Occupational Medicine, Environmental Medicine, and Prevention Research at the University Hospital of Cologne.
