Dr. Kara Allen is the Medical Lead at Monash Simulation and a specialist anaesthetist (FANZCA) at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, with an Honorary appointment at St Vincent’s Hospital Department of Anaesthesia. She has clinical interests in neuroanaesthesia, trauma and regional anaesthesia. She is a co convenor of the CRASH course, the STAR course and instructs regularly on EMAC, ALS and the National Airway Course. She has appointments at ANZCA as Lead for the ANZCA Educators Program (Victoria) and at the University of Melbourne as a Clinical Lecturer.
