23 years in front line harm reduction, community health, mental health and addictions. I started as a prison outreach worker at the height of the AIDS epidemic, helped start a needle exchange program, then founded Street Health Centre, a multi-disciplinary community health centre for people facing multiple barriers to health, including homelessness and addiction.
I returned to school in 2017 to complete a PhD in psychedelic medicine; my areas of research include psilocybin, ayahuasca and shamanism.
