Ejemai is a public health physician, certified Project Management Professional and a Health Systems & Policy Specialist. Having obtained his Medical Degree in Nigeria, he studied for an MSc in Public Health (Health Services Management) at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a PhD in implementation Science at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. . He works as a Senior Health Systems Specialist at the Department of Planning, Research and Statistics, National Primary Health Care Development Agency, Nigeria where he is involved in Primary Healthcare Policy Development, Monitoring & Evaluation of PHC interventions as well as disease surveillance and control (particularly Poliomyelitis and Measles). He is also a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Alberta, Canada.
