Anya Samek is an Associate Professor (Research) of Economics at the University of Southern California and the Director of the Behavioral and Experimental Economics Laboratory. Her research focuses on understanding the underlying preferences driving human behavior in the contexts of charitable giving, health and education. Anya's research has been funded by the NSF, NIH and private foundations and has been published in the Review of Economic Studies, the Journal of Political Economy, the Journal of Public Economics, the Journal of Health Economics and Management Science.
