Associate Professor in Architecture, Griffith University
Associate Professor Karine Dupré is a registered architect and planner, holding a PhD in Urban Planning. Prior to joining the Architecture Program at Griffith University, she was the head of the School of Architecture in Strasbourg (INSA, France) and lived 10 years in Finland working at the Urban Planning & Design Institute of Tampere University of Technology. She is currently the Program Director of the Bachelor of Architectural Design at Griffith University.
She has an extensive experience in building heritage and heritage district, feasibility studies for regional and local sites, urban renewal and sustainability, and new cities. At the Griffith Institute for Tourism (GIFT), she has developed research on Cities and Tourism, as well as on Healthy Ageing in Rural Tourism Towns (HARTT).
