Xbox Game Pass is getting a slew of new games this month, including “Wolfenstein: Youngblood.” Despite the game being released on several platforms since 2019, its arrival in Microsoft’s service will be exclusively available for subscribers using Android devices for gaming.
Xbox Game Pass: What’s new in February 2021
“Wolfenstein: Youngblood” was launched in 2019 and was initially made available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One. This is not the first time the game is going to be playable on mobile devices, though. Before the end of 2019, the first-person shooter was also launched on Stadia — Google’s cloud gaming platform.
This time, Xbox Game Pass subscribers who have yet to try the game will be able to start playing on Feb. 11. The game features a plot that takes place two decades since the events of “Wolfenstein 2.” It puts the spotlight on BJ Blazkowicz’s twin daughters, Jess and Soph, after their father mysteriously disappeared at the beginning of the game.
Also arriving on Xbox Game Pass on Feb. 11 are other popular titles. “Jurassic World Evolution” and “Stealth Inc. 2: A Game of Clones” will be accessible on Android and console. But another highlight of this month’s catalog update has to be “Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age” that subscribers can play via consoles and PC.
On Thursday, Feb. 4, Xbox Game Pass subscribers with Android, console, and PC can start playing “Project Winter” and “The Falconeer.” “Ghost of a Tale” goes live exclusive on PC on the same day.
How to access cloud gaming via Xbox Game Pass
It should be noted that Android devices can access Xbox Game Pass titles through cloud gaming, which is currently only available on the Ultimate membership plan. It costs $14.99 per month, but Microsoft offers a promo for new members letting them pay only $1 for the first three months.
The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate lets subscribers access games available through the service on three platforms — console, PC, and Android. It also comes with access to Xbox Gold Live and EA Play libraries at no additional cost. Cheaper membership plans, available for $9.99 a month, are also available, giving gamers access to either the PC or the console service.
