What a good time to be alive! Many films are finally getting their chance of a sequel and on the list includes James Cameron's film 'Avatar'. It took them almost 7 years to finally decide for a part two knowing that the first film was a huge hit. So when are we going to explore yet again the fantastic alien world of Pandora and see the blue skinned Na'vis? And what took them so long?
Cameron, in an interview with Montreal Gazette, responded to the issue explaining them that the design took them two years to finish and the story line is still under development. And with the span of six years, they were able to develop and improve their technical stages and infrastructure. So that would mean an even better world of Avatars, much better than it already was the first time. It will definitely be worth the wait for the fans all over the world.
As for the characters, stars Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana who plays Jake Sully and Neytiri, respectively, will return to reprise their roles and it is speculated that the two will have issues regarding their relationship.
Yet another spoiler and gift for everyone is the rumor that there will not only be a second part but a third installment as well which is expected to be released on 2017 and 2018. This news is more than enough to get us on our feet with excitement, right? Cameron is expected to work with Josh Friedman, Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, and Shane Salerno in the making of this film.
