Fans will surely rejoice to this news as things will finally come their way with the new episode of the hit TV series 'The Blacklist'. Season 3 episode 11's synopsis, released via Carter Matt, reads:
"With her name finally cleared, Liz (Megan Boone) attempts to reclaim her former life. Red (James Spader) works with the task force to infiltrate an assembly of high-level criminals at large in a rare, risky opportunity to capture the heads of the world's most lethal organized crime syndicates."
As we all know, our favorite Blacklister is now finally a free woman. With all the crimes she was supposed to have committed, all these charges are exonerated with the help of Red. The upcoming episode, however, will find the former FBI operative struggling to return to the mainstream having realized that things will never be the same again.
With that known, will Liz return to working with the FBI again? Executive producer Jon Bokenkamp told Entertainment Weekly that "she will be working as a consultant for them, which is exactly what Red's doing." He also added that, "Liz's life is tinged with grayness now that she is no longer an FBI agent. She's not necessarily respected by a lot of law enforcement. She's probably incredibly respected by some criminals."
And speaking of Red, in the promo for the upcoming episode, a man who appears to be detained for false reasons tells Reddington that Red is actually an impostor. At this point, Red let out a mirthless laugh, but Liz looks utterly baffled.
