“The 100” Season 6 is an exciting installment for fans of the post-apocalyptic science fiction drama as it will be exploring new stories, characters, and a whole different world. The fifth entry’s finale employed a huge time jump of 125 years after the survivors left Earth due to several nuclear apocalypses.
Now, “The 100” Season 6 will have the protagonists waking up from their cryo-sleep and explore a Goldilocks planet they’re set to inhabit. What’s more, those who have read the book that the show is based on will be in the dark this fifth installment, ScreenRant reported.
This is due to the fact that the story of “The 100” Season 6 will be expanding the plot way beyond the story that the books have told. While some fans are worried that this might be detrimental to the series going forward, CW president Mark Pedowitz said that ideas for a seventh entry are already being thrown around.
This means that “The 100” Season 6 will be building up the tension for its plot with the major story potentially ending in a cliffhanger to set up the events in the installment that’ll follow. One of the main plots that will step up the plate in the upcoming entry is Jordan (Shannon Kook) and how the other characters will be interacting with him, TVLine reported.
Bellamy (Bob Morley) and Clarke (Eliza Taylor) will act as his guardians in “The 100” Season 6, taking on the mantle of the protective aunt and cool. Meanwhile, Murphy (Richard Harmon) will try to steer him off the righteous path and corrupt him throughout the course of the story. This evolving relationship will be set on the backdrop of an unknown planet and the threats and adventures that it holds.
As for the release date of “The 100” Season 6, it’s been slated to air on April 30. Hopefully, the massive change in location will provide a satisfying plot for its audiences so that more installment will be ordered by CW in the future.
