Taco Bell's Mexican Pizza FAQ on its site confirmed that while they have been selling out across the country, they expect to return the item to its permanent residency on the Taco Bell menu.
The fast-food chain brought the fan-favorite menu item Mexican pizzas back earlier this month, and the response has been predictably passionate.
But a subreddit post showed a letter allegedly received by a Taco Bell employee, suggesting that the Mexican Pizza was not only sold out in a number of locations, but may be temporarily removed from the menu again.
The letter says that "The Mexican Pizza will return later this year; you'll hear more from us as that date approaches."
The correspondence went on to detail that Taco Bell employees offer a free Crunchy Taco or Bean Burrito should do a customer order a Mexican Pizza.
