Nostalgia is about to hit your favorite superhero show on The CW. According to multiple reports, Teri Hatcher is expected to cross paths with her former “classic '90s series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” co-star Dean Cain in “Supergirl.”
The “Desperate Housewives” star’s involvement in the series was first announced in January this year, and series boss Andrew Kreisberg has since confirmed that there is a plan for the two to cross paths in the show, TV Guide reports. However, Kreisberg has said that the two could be working on something totally different that even Supergirl/Kara (Melissa Benoist) would disagree.
"We've known Dean for a long time now. We didn't know Teri before this casting process and she's turned out to be the exact same way [as Dean], so she is in this for the fans and knows what her being a part of this means to so many people. So they're both really excited to give back. She is so not playing Lois [Lane] and she is so not playing any character I've ever seen her play before. She's really playing something completely different from [what's] in her repertoire of all the things that she's done. And she's doing it amazingly," he explained.
But what could this be? Buddy TV said it could be about Cain, who is now adoptive father to Supergirl/Kara, and his work with Cadmus.
“The apparent doomsday device seen at the closing of "Homecoming" isn't a doomsday device at all. While it was implied that Lena Luthor and Jeremiah Danvers were planning on eradicating all aliens on Earth, the truth is slightly different. Apparently the big craft glimpsed in the final moments of "Homecoming" is a space ship and Cadmus is now planning to ship all aliens off Earth. This is solely Jeremiah's idea,” Derek Stauffer wrote for the online site.
Catch the second season of “Supergirl” every Monday on The CW.
