Shake Shack will be again offering the limited-time-only sakura-inspired milkshake dubbed "Shack-ura Shake" this spring.
The fast-food joint is famous not just for burgers, but milkshakes too.
The milkshake has become a yearly favorite comes courtesy of Shake Shack. This option appears only during the spring season, like the blooms.
The flavor is defined by a light vanilla frozen custard base prepared in-store every morning, combined with milk and sakura puree. Its sweetness is balanced by a subtle salty note, similar to that of sakura mochi.
The milkshake cups have received a spring upgrade, complete with delicate pink blossoms on the outside.
Starting in early April, the colorful blossom-inspired drinks are on sale at Shake Shack locations in Japan. A small order costs 616 yen and the regular size 814 yen.
