Selena Gomez just released her newest track titled “Lose You To Love Me” and fans were quick to assume that the songstress shaded her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber. It’s a breakup song after all so it is not surprising that fans would easily connect it to her most recent breakup.
The track was dropped on Oct. 23 and fans swear that there were lots of references to Bieber, Selena’s “on and off” boyfriend for almost eight years. They split up for good in March 2018 and the 25-year-old pop superstar immediately reunited with Hailey Baldwin who he ended up marrying twice.
Selena explains her new song via interview
On Oct. 28, Selena Gomez appeared on SiriusXM’s show and during the interview, she admitted that there was a lot of pain while she was writing “Lose You To Love Me.” She went on to say that she wrote it at the start of this year and she was at a studio in L.A. the song was completed in two hours but the result was amazing.
“I wasn’t quite sure what was going to come of it, and within two hours, even an hour, we basically wrapped up the song,” she told SiriusXM. “I mean a lot of pain went behind the song but it ended up being something that is beautiful.”
Justin’s reaction
It was said that Justin Bieber has yet to publicly comment on her ex-girlfriend’s new song but there are tipsters who said that he is actually prepared in case things like this happens. “He pretty much knew it was coming because as an artist that’s what she’s done before,” the source told Hollywood Life. “And he respects her choice to do that. But the past is not something he wants to dwell on.
Hailey Baldwin’s responded with a threat?
Meanwhile, Haily, Bieb’s wife, was said to have reacted “violently” after posting a screenshot of “I’ll Kill You” song. Cosmopolitan reported that the IG post of the model came shortly after Selena Gomez released her “Lose You to Love Me” track and she may also think that has shaded her husband. Selenatics were said to be outraged by Baldwin’s reaction.
