‘Scream Queens’ season 2’s episode 7, entitled “The Hand”, will follow Nurse Hoffel as she commands Cassidy to kill a new target as the Green Meanie. Meanwhile, Dr. Holt’s hand goes out of control.
The synopsis for episode 7 posted on Cartermatt reads, “In an effort to secure positive press for the hospital, Dean Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) pitches a risky surgery to Dr. Holt (John Stamos), whose hand begins expressing more of a wild and dangerous personality than ever before.
Meanwhile, Chanel #3 (Billie Lourd) forces Cassidy (Taylor Lautner) to undergo a psych test to find the root of his condition with surprising results, and Nurse Hoffel (Kirstie Alley) sets a devious plan in motion.”
In the promo, Nurse Hoffel commands Cassidy to kill someone. She says, “I want that girl dead. Do you hear me? Dead!” In the next scene, Chanel #5 (Abigail Breslin) warns Chanel (Emma Roberts) that her life is in extreme danger.
In the preceding episode, entitled “Blood Drive”, Nurse Hoffel found out that Cassidy is the person behind the Green Meanie. It was also revealed that she is the vengeful sister of Agatha Bean, the girl Chanel killed in season 1. She and Cassidy then decided to work together to continue the killings.
Although Hoffel doesn’t mention anyone’s name in the promo, it was speculated that Hoffel’s target may be Zayday (Keke Palmer), according to International Business Times. Zayday was the one determined to uncover the Green Meanie’s true identity in the previous episodes.
Meanwhile, Dr. Holt’s hand seems to be out of control. It originally belonged to a squash player, who murdered his rivals.
In the promo, the hand smashes Dr. Holt to a table and even pulls his weight. It even attempts to choke Dean Munsch. By the end of the trailer, Chanel pays Dr. Holt a visit and asks seductively, “Is your hand duct taped to your leg?” He says yes and she replies, “Kinky.”
‘Scream Queens’ season 2’s episode 7, entitled “The Hand”, is scheduled to air on Fox on November 29, 2016. It will be followed by episode 8, entitled "Rapunzel, Rapunzel", directed by Jamie Lee Curtis and scheduled for December 6.
