“Santa Clarita Diet” season 3 has been renewed by Netflix months ago and it will return with another 10 episodes. Immediately after the announcement, the production of the comedy show has begun.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the decision to order new episodes for “Santa Clarita Diet” season 3 was not surprising because it has good feedback and its viewership ratings are strong. As for what the next installment is going to be like, showrunner Victor Fresco said that they have a lot of ideas since there are still a lot of stories to explore, further noting that seasons 1 and 2 took place in a span of just two weeks each.
"There's always more story. The whole season one took place over two weeks and season two takes place over two weeks, so they're still only about a month into this incredible change that they're going through," the showrunner revealed.
