“Rick and Morty” season 4 is coming in a few days, and it will open with an interesting episode called the “Edge of Tomorty: Rick Die Rickpeat.” Apparently, the title is derived from one of Tom Cruise’s popular films titled “Edge of Tomorrow” that featured the tagline “Live. Die. Repeat.”

Via Twitter, the short synopsis for “Rick and Morty” season 4, episode 1, was revealed, and it reads: “Morty goes nuts this time dawg. Rick does stuff.” While the plot summary doesn’t give away much spoiler, it can assume that Morty will have a hard time in this episode. Perhaps, he’s going crazy over an event or something that Rick may have created.

The return of the villain

One of the things to expect is the possible appearance of an old villain, which everyone knows - Evil Morty. Adult Swim seems to have hinted that he will be back in “Rick and Morty” season 4 when it posted a photo that shows the antagonist in the midst of the Morty clones.

Evil Morty was last seen in the previous season’s last few episodes. Although neither Adult Swim or the show creators mention about the villain’s appearance in “Rick and Morty” season 4, the image is enough to confirm that he will be back to make things harder for the protagonists.

U.S. and U.K. premiere dates

“Rick and Morty” season 4 will be split into two parts, and this means that there will be a midseason break. They will release the first five episodes, and the remaining five will follow in 2020.

“Rick and Morty” season 4 episode 1 will premiere in the U.S. on Nov. 10 at 11:30 p.m. on Adult Swim however, the viewers in the U.K. will have to wait a bit longer. Digital Spy reported that the series will air on Channel 4 instead of Netflix and will make its debut in January 2020.

With the arrival of “Rick and Morty” season 4 on the British Channel 4, Ian Katz, director of programming at the station, said: "Millions of fans have been waiting for more than two years for a new series of Rick and Morty, the most brilliantly bonkers show on television. We're thrilled that it will be aired exclusively on Channel 4 and I promise it will be worth the wait."
