Park Shin Hye and Yoo Ah In have teamed up for the movie #ALIVE. Prior to the release of the film, the two sat down for an interview and it was revealed that they have many action scenes but the actress’s parts were more intense.
The two worked together for the first time but they revealed that they had a good time on the set. They enjoyed working together that Park Shin Hye even said that she did not feel like she’s on the set because the atmosphere was really good at work.
Ah In also stated before that he really wants to be in a project with Park Shin Hye and finally, that time has come when they were cast in #ALIVE. He said that he watched the actress’ dramas and immediately felt he wants to act with her and it turned out that the feeling is mutual.
"I got the feeling that Park Shin Hye would also say yes to the project,” Allkpop quoted Yoo Ah In as saying when asked why he accepted the role. “It was one of the reasons I decided to do it."
The “almost” real action scenes
Shin Hye and her co-star revealed that they have many action scenes and this is the first time that people will see the actress doing intense actions. The highlight is that she did not use a double to act the scenes for her but she personally did it like going down the building through a rope and more.
“It was just a warm-up,” SBS News quoted her as saying as she talks about her action scenes. “You could see it in the teaser but I did a wire scene as well.”
Yoo Ah In even said that Park Shin Hye will even be better than Uma Thurman in “Kill Bill” if she will take formal classes on stunts. He then jokingly added, “She wielded axes and that’s her definition of a ‘warm-up.’”
Movie release date
Meanwhile, “#ALIVE” is a suspense-thriller and it tells the story of how two people try to survive in a city where a mysterious outbreak turned people into zombies who attack and infect other people. Communication lines were cut so Park Shin Hye and Yoo Ah In’s characters have to use whatever they have to contact each other. The movie is set to premiere on June 26.
