Park Shin Hye recently appeared on the variety show called “Knowing Brothers” and she came with her co-stars for her upcoming movie titled “Call.” The 30-year-old actress visited the JTBC program with veteran actress Kim Sung Ryung and Jeon Jeong Seo, and apparently they are there to promote their film.
Shin Hye’s reason for coming to the show
While they admitted to coming to the show to promote, Park Shin Hye added that she is actually there for her very close friend, Lee Hong Ki, as well. Previously, when the FTIsland leader visited “Knowing Brothers” in 2017, he made a bet that he will bring his friend Shin Hye to the show if he will lose in the game and true enough, he lost.
As mentioned on IMBC’s ENews, when the actress entered the set, she greeted everyone by saying that she has come to fulfill Hong Ki’s promise to Kang Ho Dong, Kim Heechul, Lee Su Geun, Seo Jang Hoon, Lee Sang Min and Kim Young Chul. She showed her loyalty to her long-time friend by making sure that his promise to the cast and crew of “Knowing Brothers” will not be broken.
“I have come to keep the promise,” the actress said. “Promoting our movie is one of the reasons but I’m also here to keep my promise.”
Lee Su Guen was apparently impressed and said that what Park Shin Hye did is “trust and promise.” They also applauded her for being loyal to Lee Hong Ki and obviously, she values their friendship.
Shin Hye and Hong Ki’s history
Park Shin Hye and Lee Hong Ki’s friendship goes as far back as 2009 when they starred together in the “You’re Beautiful” drama. It is a romantic comedy that also starred Jung Yong Hwa and Jang Keun Suk and in interviews, they always said that they had fun filming.
The two remained good friends and hang out when they are free so they became really close to the point that they call each other when something good or even bad happened to them. Even when the singer enlisted in the army last year, Park Shin Hye send him off and wish him well as he serves the country for almost two years.
