“One Punch Man” Season 2 is set to premiere soon and fans are already champing at the bits to watch every single wonderful episode. However, for those hoping to find as many quirky characters in the upcoming season as the first, prepare to be disappointed. The second season will kick things up to a higher gear with more threats and antics that are less about making a visual impact.
As MEAWW notes, one of the biggest reasons why fans absolutely love “One Punch Man” is the diverse cast of interesting characters that are introduced. From a man-crab wearing nothing but briefs to an eccentric scientist who tried and failed to create the ultimate beings, there is no shortage of weird folks in season 1. Unfortunately, there are going to be less of them in “One Punch Man” Season 2.
The themes in the upcoming season are going to be more serious than the first mainly because they deal with a lot of death and carnage. Not the funny, satisfying ones that Saitama doles out, either. Rather, it’s going to be about Garo who hunts heroes and monsters killing off powerful humans. Basically, “One Punch Man” Season 2 is where the actual hero stuff is cranked up to 11.
Not that there won’t be some new characters who have weird personalities. For example, there will be Fubuki who is the younger sister of Tatsumaki. Fans of the anime will know the latter as a powerful S-Class esper. In contrast, her younger sibling will only be a B-Class but one who has formed a group of others in the same category. She will basically try to recruit Saitama in “One Punch Man” Season 2.
She is just one of the many characters to entertain viewers once “One Punch Man” Season 2 premieres. As to when this will be, April is the month to look forward to.
