Melania Trump humiliated: FLOTUS under fire in latest Twitter update about Governors' Spouses Luncheon

Unlike her husband, First Lady Melania Trump is always keeping a low profile, but she has her share of criticism from the public on social media. Melania hosted the Governor’s Spouses Luncheon recently but ended up on the receiving end of a lot of criticism as she promoted her Be Best campaign.

Melania played hostess to the Governors’ Spouses Luncheon at the White House. This gathering follows the Governors’ Ball they held the night before. The First Lady promoted her campaign Be Best and explained how they can use the initiative to make a positive difference in their respective states. The First Lady shared photos of the gathering on Twitter, and many users quickly criticized her and her promotion of the campaign to the spouses of the governors.

One commented that she should start implementing her campaign on her husband President Donald Trump, who many believe is trying to retaliate on his political enemies following his acquittal by the Senate from the impeachment trial. Other users commented that she should start using this campaign of hers in the White House itself, along with her step-children who are currently Donald’s political advisers: Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka, and Eric Trump.

There were other users who praised the First Lady as well, saying how lucky the country was to have her as FLOTUS as well as saying how she is one of the classiest America has ever had. One other commenter thanked her for her efforts in her initiative.

Meanwhile, many of Melania’s supporters expressed their outrage at how the First Lady has not been featured on the covers of fashion magazines despite being a former model herself. The Daily Mail reports that comparisons were drawn between Melania and her immediate predecessor Michelle Obama. Obama was featured in 12 covers for various magazines in the eight years her husband President Barack Obama was in office.

The comparison stemmed from actor James Woods, who shared a glamour shot of the First Lady on Twitter. Woods tweeted how biased the media is towards the Democrats, as Melania has not been on magazine covers yet. Many fellow Republicans have also echoed his sentiments, and this is not the first time the actor expressed this comparison between Melania and Michelle.
