McDonald’s U.K. is set to cut the prices of its entire menu this week. It was reported that the burger joint will start offering the 20% off deal from Monday, Feb. 21 to Friday, Feb. 27.
As per The Sun, the offer only applies if customers purchase their orders through the My McDonald’s app on the said dates. The discounted prices will surely allow fans to grab their favorite foods at McDonald’s U.K. outlets throughout this week.
However, it should be noted that customers are only allowed to have the 20% discount once a day. People will be able to see the big discount offer in the app’s deals section. The best thing is that the price cut applies to all the food items on the McDonald’s menu list in the U.K.
The deal is expected to draw more customers this week since they can try everything at McDonald’s since the prices have been reduced. From breakfast to dinner, the prices will be lower by 20% from Monday to Friday.
This means that fans of Big Macs can get their favorite burger this week for only £2.80 instead of the normal £3.49 price tag. What’s more, the Chicken McNuggets share box that costs £4.99 will only be £3.99 but for this week only. All the discounts will be automatically added at the checkout via the McDonald’s U.K. app.
Customers also have the option to have their orders delivered or picked up at the nearest McDonald’s store outlet. Then again, fans must take note that they cannot order the Chicken Big Mac that was recently added to the menu for a limited time.
This is because it was already removed from the list even before the end date due to the unexpected, overwhelming demand for the product. The Chicken Big Mac has been sold out for most restaurant branches shortly after its launch. It is not sure if McDonald’s U.K. will be bringing pack the popular chicken sandwich item soon or sometime in the future.
Meanwhile, for the customers who may miss this 20% discount offer, Wales Online reported that they should not worry because there are still other ways to get the discount that will be valid for the whole of 2022. The publication stated that for people who will download the My McDonald’s app for the first time in the U.K., they can still grab the 20% off deal as long as it is redeemed within 21 days after the initial sign-up.
