McDonald's debuts McExtreme Nachos burger

McDonald's Spain is serving a new kind of burger, and this version is definitely crunchy with every bite. The restaurant just added nachos to its burger and created the Grand McExtreme Nachos burger.

McDonald's Spain is offering this new delectable sandwich for a limited time under its Tex-Mex menu lineup. As posted on the restaurant's website, the authentic Tex-Mex flavor arrives at McDonald's, and four food items are available. In addition to the Grand McExtreme Nachos burger, there is also the double version with two beef patties, Nachos with Cheese Sauce, and the McShaker Fries.

The new burger is made with juicy beef patty, tomato, onion, cheddar cheese sauce, and nachos on top. The sandwich is served with the McDonald's signature sesame seed toasted buns. Customers can order the new Grand McExtreme Nachos burger a la carte or part of a meal where the cheesy nachos, McShaker Fries, and a drink are all included.

"McDonald's Nachos are your basic nachos with tortilla chips topped with nacho cheese sauce and it is joined by McShaker Fries and the new Grand McExtreme Nachos burger," the restaurant said in its promotion for the new Tex-Mex menu. "McShaker Fries feature McDonald's signature fries served with a packet of cheese seasoning and a bag so you can combine and shake them to distribute the seasoning."

The Street mentioned that the nachos are considered a Taco Bell item but it has now arrived at McDonald's Spain. It was also introduced with a burger to match the authentic Tex-Mex flavor. An order of the nachos comes with cheese sauce generously drizzled on top.

Meanwhile, the Grand McExtreme Nachos Burger, Grand McExtreme Nachos Burger Doble, Nachos with cheese sauce, and Tex-Mex McShaker Fries are only available at McDonald's Spain.

The Americans love the Mexcian flavor, but The Street opined, the new food items are not likely to be introduced in the United States. This is because nachos are very common in the region and in fact, too many restaurants and fast-foods are selling them already. With that said, McDonald's US will have a hard time competing for its Tex-Mex offering.
