Matthew Perry is said to be making his “Friends” co-star like Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Matt Blanc, and more anxious after he revealed his plans to write his tell-all book. This is because he allegedly said that he will be disclosing juicy details that include his colleagues’ secrets.
The actor’s alleged memoir
In the report that appeared in the National Enquirer, it was claimed that Matthew Perry will write a memoir that will also reveal the dirty secrets of his “Friends” co-stars. For this, his pals who he worked for more than a decade are now “quaking.”
It was added that the actor is rushing to finish his book because he is planning to release it while the interest in the “Friends” reunion is still very high. This will mean success for his book as the timing of the publication is just right.
“Matthew’s not an idiot,” the tipster supposedly told the National Enquirer. “He knows an uncensored account of his time on Friends and his drug issues would be a best-seller.”
What will make this book a hit is Matthew Perry’s promise to divulge his on-set romances with Julia Roberts, Courteney Cox, as well as sort out the rumors that he and Jennifer Aniston dated. It was claimed that it is true he and Jen were in a romantic relationship at some point.
“They did go out for a while,” the insider shared. “While it didn't last he plans to dish the details of the affair.”
The Truth
Is Matthew Perry really planning to expose his “Friends” co-star as well as people he dated? Gossip Cop checked out the details and concluded that the National Enquirer report is a bogus story.
Moreover, after contacting the actor’s rep, it was further clarified that the actor has no intention of exposing his friends or his ex-girlfriends. Lastly, GC pointed out the fact that the publication who wrote this news is not a reliable source.
Meanwhile, the “Friends” reunion show is still pushing through but a new premiere date has yet to be announced. This was supposed to air to mark the show’s 26th anniversary but had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
