Krispy Kreme and Dog Haus Add Festive Flavors to Thanksgiving Menus with Sweet and Savory Treats
In a recent report by Fast Food Club, Krispy Kreme and Dog Haus bring festive additions to the Thanksgiving holiday menu, offering sweet and savory options to elevate any celebration spread.
Krispy Kreme
Krispy Kreme’s Thanksgiving Pies Doughnut Collection, launched on November 7, brings a twist to classic pie flavors with four indulgent donuts available through Thanksgiving Day, November 28.
- Apple Crumble Doughnut: A homage to traditional apple pie, this unglazed shell is filled with pie filling, topped with cinnamon cookie crumbs, and finished with pie crust buttercream.
- Blueberry Crisp Doughnut: This treat features a filling dipped in blueberry icing and topped with streusel for added texture and tartness.
- Chocolate Silk Pie Doughnut: The Original Glazed doughnut is dressed in chocolate icing and topped with chocolate buttercream and chocolate curls.
- Lemon Creme Pie Doughnut: This creamy delight features lemon pie filling, lemon icing, a graham crunch, and a dollop of meringue buttercream.
These donuts can be purchased by the dozen at Krispy Kreme locations or in six-packs at grocery stores carrying the brand. Catering packages also feature these seasonal flavors, offering convenient options for larger gatherings. Krispy Kreme’s Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut and Pumpkin Spice Beverage are available for those seeking classic fall flavors until November 28.
Dog Haus
Dog Haus takes a savory route with its Thanksgiving special: turducken—a combination of turkey, duck, and chicken in sausage form. Available throughout November, these menu items provide a bold alternative to traditional Thanksgiving fare.
- Turducken: Served on grilled King’s Hawaiian rolls, the sausage is topped with garlic aioli, crispy onions, scallions, and turkey gravy.
- Turducken Burrito: A hearty wrap featuring turducken sausage, three sunny-side-up eggs, sweet potato fries, white American cheese, spicy mayo, and caramelized onions.
In line with their commitment to giving back, Dog Haus will donate $1 from each turducken special sold to No Kid Hungry, supporting efforts to end childhood hunger. The brand recently partnered with YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul, who will franchise 25 locations and participate in future menu collaborations and events.
Other Seasonal Highlights
Several other restaurant brands are offering limited-time Thanksgiving-themed items:
- Arby’s Thanksgiving Sandwiches: The Deep Fried Turkey Gobbler and Deep Fried Turkey Club sandwiches feature Savory Herb Spread, a creamy sauce with garlic and sage.
- Paris Baguette’s Gourmet Cakes: A range of handcrafted cakes, including Crepe Cake, Cookies & Cream Chocolate Ganache Cheesecake, Maple Pecan Layer Cake, and Double Chocolate Salted Caramel Layer Cake. PB Rewards members can enjoy a buy-one-get-one-free cake slice on November 26 for National Cake Day.
- Starbucks Thanksgiving Blend: This blend offers flavors of candied pecan, dried fig, and sage, with beans sourced from Guatemala, Ethiopia, and Indonesia, adding a warm start to the holiday.
