McDonald’s is spreading seasonal savings by extending its popular $5 Meal Deal through December. The deal offers a choice of McDouble or McChicken with fries, nuggets, and a drink. Alongside the meal deal, app-exclusive promotions, regional deals, and new items like the Chicken Big Mac and Dulce de Leche Frappe bring added value to customers.
McDonald’s Reinforces Commitment to Affordable Meals with Extended Deals and Exclusive App Promotions
McDonald’s is embracing the spirit of giving this season by maintaining its affordable prices through the end of the year.
As the year concludes, McDonald’s aims to keep savings at the forefront for its customers. Following the success of its “Summer of Value” campaign, which featured popular promotions such as free fries on National French Fry Day and the well-received $5 Meal Deal, the fast-food chain is extending this value-oriented offer until December. For $5, customers can choose a McDouble or McChicken Sandwich, small fries, four Chicken McNuggets, and a small soft drink.
Joe Erlinger, President of McDonald’s USA, expressed the brand’s dedication to providing quality meals at affordable prices. After witnessing millions enjoy the $5 Meal Deal last summer, Erlinger noted that the decision to extend this deal underscores McDonald’s commitment to fair pricing.
Beyond the $5 Meal Deal, McDonald’s offers additional promotions through its app, including exclusive deals such as:
- 10-piece Chicken McNuggets for $1 – Available from November 1 through December 2, 2024, redeemable once per week.
- Free Fries Friday – A fan-favorite promotion allowing users to claim free medium fries with a $1 minimum purchase every Friday until year’s end.
Regional offers are also available:
- Southern California – Customers can mix and match two items for $3.99, including the Sausage or Chicken griddle, Sausage Biscuit, or any size Iced Coffee.
- Dallas – A 20-piece Chicken McNuggets for $5, ideal for sharing.
- New England – Enjoy a $1.99 Frozen Carbonated Drink of any size.
McDonald’s Unveils Chicken Big Mac and Dulce de Leche Frappe, Expanding Value Menu Options
McDonald’s recently introduced two new limited-time menu items that generated considerable buzz on social media: the Chicken Big Mac and Dulce de Leche Frappe. The Chicken Big Mac features McDonald’s signature special sauce, pickles, lettuce, cheese, and two fried chicken patties from 100% white meat in a crispy tempura batter. The Dulce de Leche Frappe, launched on October 30, combines McDonald’s Caramel Frappe with a dulce de leche syrup, topped with whipped cream and caramel pieces.
Additionally, McDonald’s continues to offer its $1, $2-, and 3-Dollar Menu, featuring a variety of popular items at budget-friendly prices, including:
- Breakfast Options: Sausage Biscuit, Sausage McMuffin, Sausage Burrito, and Hash Browns.
- Main Items: McDouble, McChicken Sandwich, and Chicken McNuggets.
- Beverages: Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta Orange, Dr Pepper, Diet Coke, Hi-C Orange Lavaburst, and Iced Tea (sweetened or unsweetened).
For more localized deals, the McDonald’s App remains the best resource. The app allows customers to explore exclusive offers and track points as part of the MyMcDonald’s Rewards program. New users who link a payment method earn 1,500 bonus points on their first payment, redeemable for a Cheeseburger or Hot ‘N Spicy McChicken Sandwich, making the app a gateway to savings and rewards.
