The battle is heating up and the alliance is getting stronger than ever. The Wei army looks like its backing down but they are really just revving up to get back in the battleground as the other groups increase their paces.

Previously in the “Kingdom” chapter 654 titled “Not Chu” The Qin HQ noticed that the Wei army seems to be withdrawing after fighting with the Chu. It seems that they are also losing their defense so the Chu is gaining the upper hand.
Mou Bu’s son Mou Ki witnessed the clash and he’s terrified of the gruesome scene unfolding before him. With what he was seeing, he tried to think what a strategist like him should do.
At this point, the Qin army is advancing so hard and quick and this forced the Chu to withdraw their second line of defense. Fortunately, Go Hou Mei, the great general from the state of Wei was with them and this somehow calmed the Qins.
The Wei headquarters HQ watched the Qin and Chu’s battle while Go Hou Mei thinks that someone must be killed before the alliance terminates within three years. In any case, the first line of the Man U army is already getting defeated but Mou Bu still continues to attack.

Now, in the upcoming “Kingdom” chapter 655, it is expected that Junju, the Man U army elite force will come in and Mou Bu will deal with Kou Hou, the Gen U elites. As posted on Reddit’s spoilers forum for this manga series, the soldiers at Wei headquarters will not stop stating the issues in the battle although Gou Hou Mei already told them to keep quiet.
“Kingdom” chapter 655 will mark the start of Wei’s alliance that will be in effect for three years. Their strategies will change because of this pact. Ryuuhan, a Wei commander will also order the 3rd unit to charge at their rivals.
Meanwhile, Chu’s fourth line will be taken down so when commander Gen U heard about it, he will send the second line to back them up in the “Kingdom” chapter 655.
Release date
The “Kingdom” chapter 655 is set to arrive on Oct. 3 as per Otakukart. Also, there will be no break this week and the next so fans can continue to read new chapters every Saturday as usual.
