‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ season 13 continues production as confirmed by E! despite previous reports of a standstill following Kanye West’s hospitalization last November 21, 2016.
It was previously reported by TMZ that production for ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ has been halted temporarily following Kanye West’s hospitalization. Production was also stopped last October 3, 2016 in the wake of Kim Kardashian’s Paris robbery. Kim was robbed of more than $10 million worth in jewelry while held at gunpoint inside her private residence in Paris.
However, an E! spokesperson confirmed to Variety that production for season 13 of the popular reality television series will continue. The spokesperson said, “‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ is currently in production and has not been halted.” Another source further confirmed that the long-running reality show "is still filming" and "with the entire family."
Kanye was rushed to the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles last November 21 after reportedly suffering a breakdown. West canceled the remainder of his Saint Pablo tour prior to his hospitalization, and went on rants against Jay-Z, Beyonce and Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg during recent performances
It was reported that the 39-year old rapper, record producer, and entrepreneur had suffered from “severe paranoia” and “hallucinations” brought about by over fatigue and lack of sleep.
A source told US Weekly, "He's been shaken up ever since the robbery in Paris. It did a number on him as much as Kim… The mere thought that anything could happen to her sent him in a tailspin. He wasn't sleeping and he was having nightmares about it."
The source explained, "The robbery triggered everything… Kim is his family and the only family he really has now. They took him in and embraced him. So seeing Kim traumatized did a major number on him."
‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ season 13 is expected to return to E! It recently aired its season 12 finale, entitled "No Good Deeds," last November 20, 2016.
