Jungkook has always been referred to as BTS’ golden maknae, and he has proven many times that he is worthy of the title. He is the group’s most popular member and probably the most recognized as well, but he remained humble despite his stature.
Just recently, Jungkook was honored by the Korean embassy in Vietnam. As Allkpop reported, in honor of the 27th anniversary of the diplomatic relations of South Korea and Vietnam, the Korean Tourism Organisation set up an event that includes an exhibition booth dedicated only to BTS' Jungkook. This is a special recognition from the government because he is the first idol to ever be featured in such events.
Jungkook dropped hints about releasing his own music
In any case, Jungkook is ready to make his fans swoon again with his music as he revealed that he will be releasing his own music. The 22-year-old singer dropped a hint when he appeared on J-Hope’s VLIVE streaming early this week.
The live stream also played J-Hope’s “Chicken Noodle Soup” track that features Becky G and while the music played, he asked Jungkook to dance and informed the viewers that it is part of the Chicken Noodle Soup dance challenge. Of course, the BTS maknae obliged and showed off his powerful moves.
At one point during the live streaming, Jungkook excused himself and reasoned that he is working on his own music. What he just shared there is enough to put the ARMYs in the “expecting mode” as they commented they would wait for his record. Later, this was confirmed to be a mixtape.
BTS is back and fully ready to resume with their activities
Meanwhile, Jungkook and the rest of the BTS members are back to work. They resumed their activities full-time and have already completed some tasks including filming overseas though it is not clear if it is a music video or for a show.
When asked if they are not tired yet and how long they will keep working as BTS, the group told The Hollywood Reporter, that they will keep going. They said that they love what they do and happy with what they have already achieved.
"We're not really compelling each other to keep this going," Jimin told the magazine. “We just have so much fun together singing and dancing that we want it to continue."
