The synopsis for "We're Bad People" posted on TV Guide reads, “Annalise (Viola Davis) sits in jail as the DA's office compiles evidence against her. Meanwhile, the police try to figure out how Wes' (Alfred Enoch) body wound up in the house fire; and the remainder of the Keating 5 mourn the loss of one of their own.”
Epiaode 10 will follow Annalise as she faces jail time for arson and first-degree murder charges as the DA’s office continues to build their case against her. The police also continues their investigation on Wes’ death after it was revealed that he was the body under the sheet the entire time. They will seek to answer the mystery of what happened to Wes on the night of the house fire.
The previous episode, titled "Who's Dead?," follows Annalise as she relapses into drinking after finding out that she was under investigation by the DA’s office. According to the recap on Vulture, she burned all the files from Sam (Tom Verica) and Rebecca’s (Katie Findlay) case and went after Bonnie’s (Liza Weil). Meanwhile, Wes is called in for questioning and is offered immunity should he testify against Annalise.
Annalise heads to Bonnie’s house and tells her about the DA’s investigation. She eventually calls the Keating Five to her home before meeting with Oliver (Conrad Ricamora) for a favor but a bomb goes off and sets the whole house on fire. Annalise is then arrested and Laurel (Karla Souza) is taken to the hospital.
Nate (Billy Brown) goes to the morgue to identify a body under the sheet, who is revealed to be Wes. In one final twist, it was also revealed that Wes died before the fire occurred when Nate visits Annalise’s holding cell.
