South Korean distiller HiteJinro has extended an advertising partnership with Major League Baseball team LA Dodgers for another three years.
The deal gives the liquor producer a commercial right to use the team’s logo, install LED advertisements at Dodger Stadium, and promote its products in Dodger Insider magazine.
The ongoing deal, first entered in 2012, helps HiteJinro boost awareness of its global brand awareness among Major League Baseball fans.
The brand will have an exclusive booth within the stadium dubbed as HiteJinro Bar and 13 other stores to sell its \lager Terra and Fruit Soju.
The Soju So Blue, a cocktail inspired by the color Dodger Blue, has also been rolled out to celebrate the partnership.
Hwang Jung-ho, chief of the company‘s global business division, noted that HiteJinro's partnership with the LA Dodgers is making Koreans living in the community proud and generating buzz in the local market,
