‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 13’s episode 7, entitled "Why Try To Change Me Now?", will find the residents at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital in danger of getting fired. Meanwhile, Amelia and Owen’s relationship troubles continue.
In the preceding episode, entitled “Roar", Bailey (Chandra Wilson) refused to fire Alex (Justin Chambers) after being shaken up by Catherine (Debbie Allen). According to the episode 6 recap on Cosmopolitan, Catherine threatened Bailey, "If you don't take some steps to replace Dr. Karev, I will."
Meanwhile, Alex seemed certain that his days at the hospital were numbered. However, Bailey made an ultimatum to keep him on since he was a good surgeon.
Although Catherine seemed fine with this decision, she has now fixed her attention towards Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital’s resident training program, which is headed by her husband Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.). It seems that the incoming episode will find Webber and the rest of the residents in danger of being kicked out.
The synopsis for episode 7 posted on Carter Matt stated, “The arrival of a new consultant puts all of the doctors on edge, especially once she starts stepping on toes in the OR. Amelia and Owen bring their personal problems into the hospital, while April explores some uncharted territory.”
It seems that the incoming episode will find Webber and the rest of the residents in danger of being kicked out. In the promo, Alex tells Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), "They're going to overhaul the program." Perhaps Bailey will be tasked at doing the dirty work for Catherine once again since by the end of the promo, Bailey tells Webber, "Medicine is changing! Change with it, or get left behind."
‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 13’s episode 7, entitled "Why Try To Change Me Now?", is scheduled to premiere on ABC on November 3, 2016. It was directed by Jeannot Szwarc and written by Austin Guzman.
