‘Girl Meets World’ season 3’s episode 7, entitled “Girl Meets True Maya”, may find Maya Hart getting in trouble with the law in her attempts at self-discovery. Maya realizes that she needs to do something outrageous and rebellious in order to find herself again.
The brief synopsis posted on Carter Matt stated, “Maya wants to do something bad to balance out all the good she’s done lately.” It seems that Maya’s (Sabrina Carpenter) rebellious side will finally be roaring to come out after she’s been out of sync with herself in the preceding episodes.
Reginald VelJohnson will be guest starring in the incoming episode. The iconic actor and comedian, famous for his numerous stints on television and films in the ‘80s and ‘90s, will be portraying the role of police officer James.
VelJohnson is well-known for portraying policemen. He played Carl Winslow on ABC’s sitcom ‘Family Matters’ and an LAPD sergeant in the films ‘Die Hard’ and its sequel ‘Die Hard 2’.
Perhaps Maya’s attempts at being defiant again will get her in trouble with the law. Perhaps she may even find herself in jail.
Maya was struggling to find her true identity and in the process of self-discovery lost her edge along the way. She got excellent grades and made great efforts to paint in art class despite this being one of the things she was actually good at.
According to Breathecast, episode 6 followed Maya and her best friend Riley (Rowan Blanchard) as they traveled to upstate New York to meet with uncle Shawn (Rider Strong). With Shawn’s help, Maya’s attempt at self-discovery progressed but not completely.
It was revealed that Shawn and Maya share recklessness and spontaneity but have been influenced by their friends Riley and Cory (Ben Savage). This led to their respective identity crises.
‘Girl Meets World’ season 3’s episode 7, entitled “Girl Meets True Maya”, is scheduled to air on Disney Channel on July 15, 2016.
