After weeks of relying on leaks, fans will finally get the details of the much-awaited “Genshin Impact” patch 1.5. Details about the update’s official reveal have been announced and fans will be able to watch online streams both in Chinese and English.
‘Genshin Impact’ patch 1.5 reveal is set on April 16
It is not strange for upcoming patches of “Genshin Impact” to be leaked way ahead of their official release dates. But there has been noticeably more information about patch 1.5 that was revealed online prompting miHoYo to release a statement asking fans to “resist” reading and sharing them.
With “Genshin Impact” patch 1.5 barely a couple of weeks away from going live, miHoYo has announced the official reveal of the upcoming content through an online broadcast on Friday, April 16. As mentioned there will be two versions of the special program to be released on the same day. The first stream will be in Chinese, at 9 p.m. JST (8 a.m. ET / 5 a.m. PT), and will be available through one of the game’s official Twitter pages with the @Genshin_7 handle.

The “Genshin Impact” version 1.5 broadcast in English will follow a few hours later on the same day, at 12 p.m. ET / 9 a.m. PT. This is going to be released as a “special program” video through the game’s official YouTube channel.
‘Genshin Impact’ patch 1.5 gameplay: What to expect
As mentioned, the rumor mill has had plenty of leaks from datamine and beta testers that have given “Genshin Impact” fans enough idea on what to expect from version 1.5. Eula has been anticipated as the new playable character to be added through the next update.
Based on earlier reports, Eula is allegedly affiliated with the Knights of Favonius and wields a claymore-type weapon with a five-star rarity. There has been plenty of information gathered about Eula as can be seen on this page, but fans should still wait for the official announcement as miHoYo can apply some changes to the character before she is launched with the “Genshin Impact” patch 1.5.

The rerun of Zhongli’s character banner in version 1.5 has also been one of the most discussed rumors among “Genshin Impact” for the past weeks, according to the notable leaker Zeniet. In the same post, the tipster also shared a gameplay clip (possibly from a beta test) that shows the game could be getting a new housing system.
The video, which runs for more than two minutes, suggests players will have a substantial option to customize the interior of a character’s home.
