If Donald Trump does not like someone, he will let everyone know just how much he does not like them. A new report reveals that Trump publicly criticized Washington governor Jay Inslee while on a visit to the CDC.
Recently, Trump went on a tour of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The president ranted to the press about Washington governor Jay Inslee, who has criticized the administration’s response to the coronavirus outbreak. Inslee wanted Trump to stick to the actual facts and science regarding the coronavirus, which has since seen a number of new cases in the United States, along with fatalities. The administration was also criticized for how they were handling the matter prior to Inslee’s criticism.
When vice president Mike Pence visited Seattle Washington, where the cases in the country first came from. Pence complimented Inslee for his work in front of the press, saying that he did a good job. However, Trump revealed that he feels otherwise for Inslee, and even told Pence not to compliment Inslee because he is a “snake.”
“I told Mike not to be complimentary of that governor because that governor is a snake...So Mike may be happy with him but I’m not, ok?” said Trump to the press. He continued to complain that he does not get enough credit for his efforts in trying to keep the coronavirus under control through the measures that were recently taken. “If we came up with a cure today, and tomorrow everything is gone, and you went up to this governor - who is you know, not a good governor by the way - if you went up to this governor and asked him ‘How did Trump do?’ He would say ‘He did a terrible job. It makes no difference’” said Trump.
Meanwhile, Trump is currently on his reelection campaign, to which the race on the Democrats’ side now falls between former vice president Joe Biden and Senator Bernie Sanders. With Biden’s lead, it seems like the former vice president has already secured the candidacy to face Trump in the November elections, at least that is what Trump and the Republicans think. With that in mind, Trump and his allies are preparing to play dirty throughout the campaign, having already started attacks on him and his son Hunter Biden’s supposed misconduct in Ukraine, which has since been refuted.
