Known for its history of giveaways, Burger King often celebrates special occasions or builds customer loyalty through promotions. This week, the fast-food giant is celebrating National Cheeseburger Day and has brought back its famous "Perks Week," providing daily freebies to Royal Perks members.
Perks Week runs from September 16 to September 22, 2024, with each day featuring a different free item:
- September 16: Customers who purchased $1 or more received a free Whopper Jr.
- September 17: A free Original Chicken Sandwich was offered with a $1 purchase.
- September 18 (National Cheeseburger Day): A free cheeseburger is available for $1 or more.
- September 19: Customers can get four Mozzarella Sticks with a $1 purchase.
- September 20: A free Croissan’wich is available for a $1 minimum purchase during breakfast hours.
- September 21: A free order of four Chicken Fries can be claimed with a $1 purchase.
- September 22: A free soft drink of any size is available with a $1 purchase.
To take advantage of these offers, customers must be Royal Perks members and log into their account through the Burger King app or website. As part of the promotion, Burger King joins other brands like Applebee’s, which offers Classic Handcrafted Burgers with Classic Fries for $8.99 on National Cheeseburger Day.
In addition to Perks Week, Burger King’s loyalty program, Royal Perks, continues to reward its regular customers. Members earn 10 Crowns for every dollar spent, which can be redeemed for menu items. The program offers various rewards, including Cheeseburgers, Whoppers, and exclusive offers.
Royal Perks members can also participate in unique challenges like the "Whopper Chef," where they can earn bonus Crowns by building virtual Whoppers. The challenge, running until September 22, 2024, allows participants to win up to 750 Crowns.
Burger King to Launch Halloween-Themed Addams Family Menu with Spooky Items This October
Looking ahead, Burger King is preparing to launch its Halloween-themed Addams Family Menu on October 10, 2024. Rumored items include the Wednesday Whopper with a purple bun, Gomez’s Churro Fries, Morticia’s Kooky Chocolate Shake, and Things’ Rings & Other Things, which features crispy onion rings in a special edition carton.
The fast-food chain has also tested new flame-grilled sandwiches and wraps in Classic, Bacon Swiss, and Fiery varieties. Depending on customer feedback, these new items could be rolled out nationwide.
