Anime fans will have to wait a little longer for “Black Clover” episode 158, but it is going to be worth it as the series will be using stories from manga again. That also means the attack on Spade Kingdom forces is going to start in the coming weeks.
‘Black Clover’ episode 158 spoilers, official preview
The rest of the year was filled with episodes focused on the training of Magic Knights. While they were not based on the original manga stories, they were considered canon as they fill in the events of the six-month timeskip not shown in the manga. But that will not be the case anymore starting with “Black Clover” episode 158 next year.
The official preview and title of “Black Clover” episode 158 confirm it will cover the very first time Magic Knights are attacking Spade Kingdom. This is going to be a good chance for the Magic Knights to showcase how strong they have gotten over the last months and the new magic spells they developed from their training.
However, one of the highlights in “Black Clover” episode 158 should be Asta’s new ability to make his Demon-Slayer Sword fly. During the Magic Knights’ time in Heart Kingdom, most of their training involved learning how to better control their mana or anti-magic in Asta’s case. This is the likely reason Asta will be able to use the sword as his flying vehicle, which is something that has limited his movements in previous story arcs.
Noelle and Mimosa are also joining Asta in “Black Clover” episode 158 as they attack a mobile fortress controlled by soldiers of Spade Kingdom. The fortress is being inhumanely powered by the mana that comes from Spade Kingdom civilians.
Meanwhile, “Black Clover” episode 158 is also likely to provide more context on what happened in Diamond Kingdom. It should be revealed that the Dark Triad has recently invaded and gained control over most parts of Diamond Kingdom.
‘Black Clover’ episode 158 release date, where to watch
As mentioned, anime fans will have to wait until January 2021 to see the action in “Black Clover” episode 158. The series will be on a break until Jan. 5, 2021. For now, anime fans can revisit the Magic Knights’ training through official streaming platforms, such as Crunchyroll, where new episodes will also be released.
