Ben Affleck is said to be experiencing a midlife crisis that made him work out harder than normal. It was reported that the actor has been working out non-stop so that his younger girlfriend Ana De Armas will not leave him.
Ben’s alleged midlife crisis
In an article published on Woman's Day titled "Ben's Midlife Muscle Crisis," it was claimed that Ben Affleck’s insecurity about dating someone younger than him is starting to creep in and it makes him really frustrated. As a result, the 48-year-old former “Batman” star started to whine, become needy and obsessed with working out for muscles.
“He’s losing it,” the so-called source told the magazine. “32-year-old Ana De Armas has him hook, line and sinker and he’s paranoid she’s going to dump him for a younger hunk now that her career is starting to take off. It triggered some kind of midlife crisis.”
The tipster went on to say that Ben Affleck was also affected by the fact that his girlfriend’s agency doesn’t want him to appear with her on red carpets. They do not want him on her movie premieres too so he started to feel more pressured to keep up with Ana De Armas.
What’s more, Ben Affleck was said to have become very interested in his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriends as they were all “hunky” guys such as Spanish model Marc Clotet and Venezuelan actor Edgar Ramirez. Seeing them, Jennifer Garner’s ex-husband started working out and even spending around three hours in the gym so he can keep up with those men.
"He's really buffed up and this time it's not for a role but if he doesn't cool it a bit, Ana's going to walk," the source went on to alleged. "He's becoming way too controlling and insecure for her and Ana's just hoping it's only a phase but it's really driving her crazy!"
The truth
Gossip Cop sets out to investigate and found that this is a false story from Austalia’s Woman’s Day. In the first place, Ben Affleck was not banned from appearing with Ana De Armas on red carpets as reported.
Also, the allegation that Ben Affleck is afraid that Ana De Armas will ditch him since her career is better now, this is false as well because the actress has long been known. She has built her name now and does not need anyone to boost her career. Finally, the actor is working out to be healthy and be fit for himself and he is not overdoing it.
