Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas are said to be engaged already. The engagement happened not long after they started dating and have gone public about their relationship.
The engagement rumors
The couple was first seen on vacation in Costa Rica, and that was only two months ago. The engagement rumors cropped up after it some publications reported about seeing the actress with a big ring on her finger. There are also photos showing the 32-year-old Cuban-Spanish actress with the said piece of jewelry.
However, while it is true that De Armas is wearing a ring, it is on her middle finger and not where it was supposed to be if they are saying it is an engagement ring. Still, the tabloids insist that the huge ring is an announcement of their engagement.
“Ben is definitely smitten,” a tipster allegedly told the publication OK! magazine. “They have the most amazing conversations on life and what they want from it. It’s just a really nice time for Ben.”
Are they get hitched? Here’s the truth
It was said that the report on Ben Affleck and Ana De Armas’ engagement is likely false because there is no real source in the article but only mentioned that someone who is close to the pair had divulged the secret.
Moreover, there is no solid evidence to support the allegation. It is even possible that the “source” doesn’t really exist at all. The biggest thing that confirmed this is another made-up report is Gossip Cop’s statement after checking out the details of the story.
The fact-checking site reached out to the couple’s reps and was told that Ben Affleck and Ana De Armas are not engaged, at least for now. Meanwhile, the couple was spotted together the past weekend. They were seen buying coffee in Dunkin’ Donuts in Santa Monica and apparently, they are both staying in the actor’s $19M Pacific Palisades mansion.
The state is in quarantine and The Daily Mail reported that the actress has been with her beau since the lockdown. They rode his black Range Rover and this is probably an extension of the actress’ birthday celebration who turned 32 on April 30.
