DICE announced last month that it is working on improving the "Battlefield 2042" Scoreboard, one of the highly requested updates among players. However, fans will have to be more patient as the developers recently said the feature will not be released until next month.
The revamped Scoreboard was initially announced as one of the changes coming in "Battlefield 2042" Update 3.3. The patch was originally planned to go live within the second half of February. But the Battlefield Direct Communication page on Twitter announced on Thursday that Update 3.3 is now scheduled to be released in early March. DICE said they will use the additional time from the delay to add more changes and "improve the quality of our Updates."
For now, "Battlefield 2042" players can look back at the revamped Scoreboard preview DICE released last month. In its new form, clear details about the Match Overview are displayed on the top left section of the screen, above the Player Information, where players can also check out their Ribbon Progression.

More than 70 percent of the Scoreboard window is dedicated to the different statistics of all human players and AI soldiers in the game. Aside from every player's overall score, the upcoming "Battlefield 2042" Scoreboard will also display the tally for Kills, Assists, Revives, Captures, and Defenses.
The improvements planned for the "Battlefield 2042" Scoreboard were generally met with positive responses. It should make it easier for players to see how well or badly they are doing in a match. It should be noted, though, that the preview of the Scoreboard was labeled a "work in progress" by the developers last month. So changes in its final version are possible.
The delay of the Scoreboard improvements comes shortly after yet another schedule change from DICE. At launch, the studio told fans that "Battlefield 2042" Season 1 would start sometime in early 2022. That generally means the first quarter or early second quarter of the year, which is already quite far from the game's November 2021 release date.
Earlier this week, though, the developer announced that the start of Season 1 has been moved to an unspecified date in early summer. "This decision gives us the time to focus on improving the Battlefield 2042 experience while finalizing the development of our seasonal content to ensure that it all reaches our standard for quality," DICE wrote.
