Now, it was reported that this week alone, BTS V trended in China’s biggest social media platform called Weibo. This was after he finally entered its Super Topic’s top 100 list. As per the description on What’s on Weibo, Super Topic is one of the platform’s functions that allows users “to create and join interest-based content community pages that are online groups separated from the main Weibo space.”
It was reported that BTS V ranks high in the list after gaining 1,084,073 points. It was added that among the BTS members, he has the highest point as well, and the whole band only has 500,928 points.
“Taehyung is still the only BTS member that enters the Top100 in "Super Topic" this week,” one of BTS V’s most active fanbases that operates on Twitter, called Purple Tree, tweeted on July 20. “Taehyung has 1,084,073 points which are the highest among members.”
In Baidu, China’s biggest search engine, the BTS member also recorded as one of the celebrities with the highest index. Other Chinese social media platforms like WeChat also listed V as its most trending artist.

The singer released "Sweet Night" in March, and it was used as the OST for the hit South Korean drama “Itaewon Class.” The song was also a hit, but its popularity never stopped since its release.
Now it was reported that the track set a new record by topping the iTunes music charts in 109 countries. Based on the information posted on Twitter, “Sweet Night” is no.1 on the said music platform in more than a hundred regions worldwide. With this, Kim Taehyung has been named as the first and only artist in the world to have a song at no. 1 in so many countries.
