‘2 Broke Girls’ season 6’s episode 12, titled “And the Riverboat Runs Through It,” is set to follow Max and Caroline as they stowaway on a riverboat heading to New Orleans on their mission to reach Randy in Texas. The two will use their waitressing skills to gather up some cash when their funds run low.
The synopsis for “And the Riverboat Runs Through It” posted on IMDB stated, “Max (Kat Dennings) and Caroline (Beth Behrs) end up on a riverboat going to New Orleans when Max tries to reach Randy (Ed Quinn) in Texas.”
It seems that the girls’ continuing misadventures to reach Randy in Texas as Max attempts to win him back will land them on a riverboat. Since their funds will be running short, they will have to stowaway and use their waitressing skills to earn some cash.
Meanwhile, Oleg (Jonathan Kite) and Sophie (Jennifer Coolidge) will make more money for the diner as they sell pony rides with Chestnut. The two were left in charge of the establishment while Max and Caroline are out on their big trip.
The promotional photographs for episode 12 posted on Spoiler TV showed Max and Caroline in what looks to be showgirl costumes, presumably as they do their temporary waitressing gig. In one of the images, Max is smiling in her slinky red and black costume while Caroline looks on in discomfort. The two seem to be working in the casino area of the riverboat as they entertain the various guests in the lively gambling atmosphere.
Professional drag queen, actor, and model RuPaul Andre Charles, otherwise known as RuPaul, is set to guest star as himself in the incoming episode. According to Yahoo! TV, Max and Caroline will find themselves star struck when they bump into him in a convenience store-slash-bait shop. RuPaul is set to offer the girls some romantic advice.
‘2 Broke Girls’ season 6’s episode 12, titled “And the Riverboat Runs Through It,” is scheduled to air on CBS on January 2, 2017. It was directed by Jason Ensler and written by Michelle Nader. It will be followed by episode 13, titled "And the Stalking Dead," scheduled for January 16.
