Eight-Screen, iPic® Theaters to Feature Exclusive Patent-Pending Viewing Pods,
Front-Row Chaise Lounges & Service at the Push of a Button for Scottsdale Moviegoers
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., April 26, 2018 -- iPic® Entertainment (“iPic” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ:IPIC), creators and founders of iPic® Theaters and Tuck Hospitality Group Restaurants, will be completing a redesign and reseating of the theater at Scottsdale Quarters to showcase an elevated experience on April 27. Auditorium enhancements will introduce moviegoers to an unrivaled industry first—iPic®’s new intimate patent-pending Pod and Chaise Lounge seating and push-button Ninja Butler service—in all eight cinemas. Updated interiors for iPic®’s destination restaurant, Tanzy, are also underway, along with a new menu debut by iPic®’s award-winning Chef & COO Sherry Yard.
“The new iPic Scottsdale was designed to deliver our members and guests a differentiated, elevated entertainment experience. Our guests will be able to enjoy the newest releases in an intimate setting with their friends or loved ones in a shared environment. Scottsdale’s new auditorium seating will offer a glimpse into our next generation of auditoriums and seat design which will be rolling out worldwide,” says iPic® Entertainment CEO and Founder Hamid Hashemi.
Scottsdale’s new auditoriums will showcase iPic®’s patent-pending Premium Plus seating Pods, arriving with courtesy personal pillows and blankets. These visionary seating pods—designed to provide an intimate seating and sound experience—boast state-of-the-art design innovation and revolutionary acoustic technology for superior sound. Comprised of two leather seats, they fully recline at the touch of a button and are encapsulated by an elegant curved wood enclosure with personal cup holders. The pods and new Chaise lounges are also equipped with swivel tables, service call buttons and a convenient cubby in the corner to tuck away small items.
For the first time ever, these new service call buttons will enable Scottsdale audiences to summon iPic®’s ninja servers without ever leaving their seat. These in-cinema servers deliver culinary from a signature dine in the dark menu by acclaimed three-time James Beard Award-winning Chef Sherry Yard in addition to a farm to glass beverage menu by iPic® Executive Bartender/Corporate Sommelier Adam Seger.
Next door to iPic® Scottsdale, the new Tanzy Restaurant will offer garden-fresh Italian dishes by Chef Yard and her star culinary team, most notably handmade dishes including Spinach-Ricotta Gnudi with roasted mushrooms, basil pesto, gorgonzola cream and grana Padano; Arancini Generoso with sweet pea risotto, spicy pomodoro, quattro formaggio explosion; and Pappardelle with slow-cooked Bolognese, plum tomato, fresh ricotta and basil. Showcasing Prime USDA beef, Tanzy’s new steak section features a 21-day wet aged cut for steak lovers of all appetites: Petite Filet Mignon, NY Strip Loin, Wagyu Flat Iron, Wagyu Skirt Steak and “Cowboy Cut” Bone-In Ribeye For Two.
Tanzy’s new culinary menu will be complemented by Adam Seger’s diverse beer, wine and craft cocktail list. Elevate your dining experience with a Popsecco, a summer-ready libation made using yuzucello, basil, LaMarca prosecco and handcrafted seasonal AZ popsicles; or transform any Tanzy cocktail into a super-chilled bar creation with the Heizenberg, Seger’s rapid-infusion machine that uses gravity to inject spirits with maximum flavor in an eye-catching contraption.
In addition to viewing the latest Hollywood blockbusters, members and guests will be able to enjoy alternative content such as live shows including magic, comedy, along with gaming competitions and other iPic® experiential ticketed events.
