Dr. Aurélie Pankowiak is a research fellow within the Physical Activity and Sport Insights group, within the Institute for Health and Sport at Victoria University, and adjunct research fellow at Federation University.
Her main research interests lie around the development of inclusive and safe sport sports.
Aurélie is a co-founder of the International Network on Sport Integrity and Violence (IRNOVIS): a funded partnership that brings together leading researchers in the fields of violence against athletes and sport integrity. https://www.uantwerpen.be/en/projects/violence-and-integrity-in-sport/
Aurélie graduated from her PhD in November 2020 at Victoria University, which investigated national elite Paralympic sport development systems.
