Dr Rob Erskine is an Associate Professor (Reader) in Neuromuscular Physiology at Liverpool John Moores University. Rob's research interests are focussed on the physiological adaptations of human skeletal muscle and tendon to chronic resistance training in different populations. He is also interested in how growth and maturation can impact physical performance and injury risk in youth athletes, and how genetic variation and nutrition can influence these physical characteristics.
