Thomas Gillier is associate professor at Grenoble Ecole de Management, France. Thomas Gillier is a Fulbright Research Scholar (2020). Before entering his position in Grenoble, he worked at CEA and EDF R&D. Thomas has conducted his research in close collaboration with many European & innovative companies like Renault, CEA, STMicro or Eyeka.
Prof. Gillier’s current research focuses on open innovation, creativity and crowdsourcing. His research is informed by insights from the process perspective of creative teams as well as the cognitive perspective in management. He has been conducting research on new collaborative forms of innovation such as innovation contests, crowdsourcing, cross-industry partnerships and open science.
He is member of the editorial board of Creativity and Innovation Management. His works have been cited among best conference papers (AOM Conference, Euram, IPDM, FNEGE). He has published in several journals such as Journal of Product Innovation Management, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, European Management Review, Creativity and Innovation Management, European Journal of Innovation Management or International Journal of Project Management.
