Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Sustainable Food Systems, Indiana University
For over 10 years, my research has focused on analyzing food systems change and helping communities respond to these changes in multiple countries and contexts, including Honduras, Thailand, Georgia, and California. I orient all of my research towards questions that have clear social and political relevance and aim to produce outcomes that are useful not only for fellow academics but for research participants, policy makers, and community organizations. To that end, I have published widely in both scholarly and applied outlets, including seven peer-reviewed co-authored articles, four research reports, one book review, and nine other publications.
I currently work with the Sustainable Food Systems Science initiative at Indiana University as a postdoctoral research fellow. Previous to this current role, I received my PhD in Geography at the University of California, Davis and a masters from the University of Georgia in Environmental Planning and Design.
