I was a freelance journalist from 2004-2010, when I decided to return to Graduate school, completing the one-year MA in political science at York University in 2010-2011, then immediately transitioned into the PhD program at York (political science), where I was awarded the Graduate Fellowship for Academic Distinction (GFAD). I am currently in the latter stage of dissertation completion, anticipating defence in the Fall of 2019 (Greg Albo, supervisor).
